The Haleakala record attempt. Ryder capped off his winter training
season on Maui with a motivational attempt at breaking the speed record
up the Haleakala Crater, set in 1993 by Jonathan Vaughters. It should
be noted that Ryder's attempts were done out of the official Haleakala
Summit race - Cycle To The Sun.

The video footage was captured during shooting for an ongoing
documentary focusing on Ryder's upcoming 2009 season with Garmin
Slipstream. The documentary is being produced by MediaOne Multimedia
